I am interested in playing. What do I need to do? Since we have over thirty locations, you will need to decide which location you would like to attend. Go to: Locations and call or send an e-mail to the Host of the location you are planning to attend at least a day or two in advance. Some Hosts do not mind if you show up unannounced, but it is always best to make contact with the host beforehand.
This is also a good way to find out what games they might be playing in advance. Do I have to be a member to play? Membership is not required to play at a gaming session at a regular GCOM location.
How do I become a member? For complete membership information go to: Members. You're a member for life. Some of the member benefits are: Getting gamers together across the state of Maryland and beyond. Associate membership is free. Where do you play? Go to our locations page for a complete location listing and map. About half of our locations are in the home of the Host listed for that location.
The rest are in retail stores, community centers, and churches. Who do I contact for more infomation? All questions can either be answered by, or you can be directed to the appropriate person, by contacting the GCOM President Michelle Hymowitz at gamesclubofmaryland gmail.
I am interested in opening my own Games Club Location. What are the requirements? Game Reviews Who can post a game review? Any GCOM member can contribute a game review. Eligibility for Supporting or Patron Member discounts is determined at the time of event registration or product purchase. Membership fees are non-refundable. GCOM reserves the right to change member benefits at any time. Your money goes towards helping GCOM exist, thrive and grow.
